Our Story
Main Event 4 Ladies & Gents Boutique was born from a moment of quiet heartbreak and deep resolve. While attending several school award ceremonies, we notice something troubling: some teens arrived in casual clothes that didn’t reflect the significance of the event, while others didn’t show up at all. When asked why, the answer was simple and painful- they couldn’t afford formalwear.
These milestone moments-prom, homecoming, graduation, and yes, award ceremonies- are more than just events. They’re rites of passage. They’re the memories that shape confidence, self-worth, and belonging. No young person should miss out on that simply because of financial hardship.
We realized that while many organizations focus on academics or basic needs, few address the emotional and social impacts of showing up and feeling seen. So, we created a space where teens could walk in and feel celebrated, not judged. A place where they could try on a suit or a gown and see themselves as worthy of the spotlight.
We collect new and gently used formalwear and accessories, and we style each teen with care and dignity. Every outfit is a statement: You matter. You belong. You deserve to be here.
As a new organization, we’re just getting started-but the need is real, and the response has been overwhelming. With the help of the community, diners and sponsors, we can expand our reach, stock out boutique, and ensure that no teen ever has to sit out a milestone moment again.

About The Founders
Ebony Chambliss (President) and Jacoby Chambliss (Treasurer) are the visionary founders of Main Event 4 Ladies & Gents Boutique, a newly established nonprofit based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Created with heart and purpose, the fresh initiative is dedicated to providing adolescents in need with access to quality formalwear- both new and gently used- through a shopping experience that promotes dignity and fosters self-respect.
Meet The Founders
Ebony brings a deep passion for youth empowerment and community service. Her leadership is rooted in compassion, creativity, and commitment to equality. As the organization president and registered agent, she’s the driving force behind its mission and outreach.
Jacoby, a proud St. Pete native, brings a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing local youth. His deep connection to the community fuels his commitment to creating oppressed that uplift and inspire. As Treasurer, Jacoby ensures the boutiques financial health and operational integrity, helping build a sustainable and impactful organization.
Together, Ebony and Jacoby are laying the foundation for a movement that transforms lives- One outfit, One moment, One young person at a time
